The secret I discovered the more experience I got: sometimes the “pro tips” are actually just the basics.
Not everything has to be over complicated. Start small. Grow bigger. For most people, it’s not worth paralyzing yourself worrying over doing it perfectly.
If your goal is to move and get strong, you can get there without pulling out a protractor to check the angle of your shin bones when you squat. I promise. Start light. You’ll get there.
Other pro tips that can change your life:
- drink more water
- eat vegetables
- your ass doesn’t have to hit grass when you squat
- walk more
- crunches don’t target deep core muscles. try plank variations instead.
- cardio isn’t the best modality for body composition changes (fat loss, muscle gain)
